Custom Home Specialties did an excellent job of redoing our deck with maintenance free materials. They were able to squeeze us in their busy schedule in a reasonable time and completed the job in a day. We have gotten nothing but compliments from our neighbors on the quality and look of the deck.
We're very glad we got Mike's contact info from our neighbor! Our new maintenance free Deck with the Glass railings allows us to see our entire backyard. Mike came out to inspect our deck and made sure we were very satisfied with work performed. We're so glad we moved to
"maintenance free" and 'see through sturdy glass" on all sides. The glass seldom needs cleaning! I highly recommend this company!
I would highly recommend Mike Mortenson and his business Custom Home for installation of a manufactured deck. Mike and his crew tore down an old wood second-story deck and reinstalled a new enlarged deck, with stairs and arbor, in one week. Once Mike's crew begins your project, they stay on site until completion! Mike's crew was fantastic and took great pride in the final product. Shout-out to foreman Rick who came early and stayed late to get us a completed deck on time. Rick also has great carpentry skills which he used to tear out and replace some bad cedar siding to make sure that the deck and the siding it was attached to was in tip-top shape. I also appreciated Mike's engineering/design skills in taking a deck footprint that I wanted (part rectangle; part hexagon, and extending around a chimney) and creating the most cost-efficient design to accomplish my vision We LOVE all aspects of our new deck, from the great design to the fantastic installation. Thanks Mike and Rick for a job well done!

Our experience was awesome! Mike and his crew are experienced, thoughtful, courteous, and all around great people to work with. The job site was kept clean and orderly. The finished product (deck) is beautiful and already being used daily. Mike's price was perfect..I had 3 bids.I would hire Mike and his crew again in a heart beat!! Thank you.

Mike, Jake, and the crew did a wonderful job on our 20-year-old cedar deck. From planning to completion, the experience was delightful. We started the project planning in mid-June and in less than a month we have a beautiful deck with Azek Tahoe decking and black powder-coated aluminum railing. Our deck should be maintenance-free for many years to come. And our dogs really love it, too!
Mike came, he saw & he made us a beautiful maintenance-free deck. Mike & his crew were courteous & professional from the beginning to the end of the entire process - tear down to finish. The best way to summarize our experience w/ Mike is: Great Guy, Great Price, Awesome deck - nuf said.
